Debbie highly recommends that learners’ parents or carers are always present during ‘lessons’ provided by tutors – and that certain qualifications and safeguarding may be necessary depending on your country’s requirements.

Biographical Info
Hazel Rebello is a Synthetic Phonics Teacher and Trainer.
Qualified as a M.A., B.Ed. & ECCEd. Teacher, she has successfully conducted numerous school phonics workshops across all Boards of Education, training over 1000 teachers at Mumbai, Pune and Gujarat (India).
She has completed the ‘ Phonics Training Online Course’ by Debbie Hepplewhite (Phonics International-UK) Hazel has been trained in Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar by Coral George (Professional Trainer, Jolly Learning Ltd- UK). She has participated in an interaction conducted by Sue Lloyd in Mumbai.
She is currently a ‘Resource Person’ for a leading Educational Publication in India.
Phonics first made an impact on her life when she started teaching 13 years ago using the Jolly learning methodology, in the Early Years Section as a Teacher and later as a Section Head in an IGCSE school. She was amazed to see how the reading and writing ability of children grow rapidly by cracking the alphabetic code… how small sounds lead to big words by using the skill of blending to read and comprehend.
To pursue her passion of teaching and training, Hazel is willing to travel across India.
