Private tutors who have completed Debbie’s Phonics Training Online course can request to be listed on this page. Please note that we cannot vouch for the tutors’ experience and/or ability – and that any arrangements should be based on following your own due diligence as to their suitability.
Debbie highly recommends that learners’ parents or carers are always present during ‘lessons’ provided by tutors – and that certain qualifications and safeguarding may be necessary depending on your country’s requirements.

Biographical Info
Graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) degree from Sydney University in 1990, I have worked extensively with preschool and primary aged children in both community health and private settings treating speech, language, literacy and fluency disorders. I also enjoyed my role as a research assistant at Sydney University working on the SpeechBite database which involved reading, analysing and indexing thousands of research papers. Upon returning to practise, subsequent to a period living overseas and raising three boys, I now specialise in literacy and language tutoring which I am totally passionate about and am enjoying immensely.
